Matthew’s unique blend of technical expertise and storytelling skill began at the tender age of three when his father joined Intel in the 1970s. He was tinkering with PCs before he could ride a bike. His parents soaked him in stories, and he wrote his first novel in the '90s. While working towards his computer science degree, Matthew interned in IT at Intel—a launch pad for his industry experience. After university, Matthew shifted to sales and then marketing. Thus, began almost two decades in a range of marketing roles at Intel and Microsoft: product marketing, strategy, sponsorship, messaging, and competitive positioning. In 2017 Matthew founded Go Narrative to help executives break through messaging bottlenecks, engage audiences, and rally the troops with the power of storytelling without having to learn storytelling.

Matthew is a filmmaker, author, photographer, and daily diarist. He lives in Seattle, Washington, with his wife and two sons. He loves fast cars and Indian cuisine.
