Dave was the COO and co-founder of Proactive Technologies, a bootstrapped MSP in Manhattan that grew organically to $10M annually before being acquired in 2019. Proactive primarily serviced hedge funds and private equity firms. Dave oversaw all finances and day to day operations of the company.

Dave developed a recruiting process used to identify "potential stars" prior to hire, which cut Proactive's days to hire in half, slashed their recruiting costs by half, and lowered their average service desk salary by 17% in the first year.

Dave now facilitates MSP peer groups and oversees the Team Builder recruiting practice for Encore Strategic, an MSP focused coaching firm.

Dave is the co-author of The Pumpkin Plan for MSPs and a veteran of the Connectwise Advisory Board. He has spoken at IT Nation, CompTIA ChannelCon, BuildIT, and the Big BIG.
